- sure, why not ???
- assuming you have no problem with people getting out to a shell to the OS
- (possible security problem maybe).
-
- Certainly you can execute rmail at the shell level with a file piped to
- it as input (actually 'redirected' to it would be more accurate).

-
- there are LOTS of them depending on how big your phone budget is.
- there's a periodic posting of waffle sites as I recall.

-
- of course it can! you can set up whatever point-to-point links you
- want and they don't have to be on any network at all (but assuming you
- want some connections to Internet/USENET and some not to be connected,
- you want to think a little before you set up paths files, etc.).

-
- depends on whether you mean can you access these programs or can they
- use them as a transport mechanism. You can set up almost anything as
- an 'external' program accessible from within Waffle given enough memory
- (usually only a constraint for DOS Waffle).
-
- >7. How many users can be accessing a node at a time?
-
- unix ? lots.
- dos ? a few maybe.
-

-
- I'm sure Ralph will answer since halcyon.com is about that big but the
- answer no doubt is different for DOS and unix Waffle. For unix ?
- I'd be suprised if it was 15 minutes a day unless there was lots of
- user turnover and stuff like validation required.

-
- you sometimes pay depending on where you live and what handshake deals you
- can make with nice folks in your area.
-
