  12. I ported UUBatch, a UUCP mail batching package, to Dos to work with Waffle
  13. and have been asked whether it can handle Smail style batched/compressed
  14. mail. I don't know, because I don't know how Smail batches mail.

  19.     {message length bytes of data}
  20. message length  checksum  address1 address2 ...
  21.     {message length bytes of data}

  24. then the answer is yes for batched, unsure for compressed batch though.

  26. If anyone could send me info on how smail batches/compresses mail and
  27. what programs it uses to do so, and what they do to handle the batches,
  28. would be appreciated. It should be pretty easy to add support for it.
