  19. SkyMap is a planetarium program for Microsoft Windows 3.1 or later.
  20. SkyMap will draw a map of the sky seen from any place on Earth for
  21. any date between 4000BC and 8000AD.  Unlike some other programs of its
  22. type, SkyMap makes no claims for blinding speed; rather, the chief
  23. objective during development has been precision - all calculations are
  24. rigorously performed.  The planetary positions calculated by SkyMap,
  25. for example, agree with those published in the "Astronomical Almanac"
  26. to within half a second of arc.  The program includes a complete
  27. manual in Windows Write format.

  29. This is the first public release of SkyMap and, as such, comment or
  30. feedback would be welcome.  Details of how to contact the author are
  31. included in the manual.
