  16. I remember test driving a VCR system on a VAX over 6 years ago - I think
  17. it was called DIGIDATA and have seen a site which uses one. However, it
  18. was quickly overtaken by 8mm.

  20. However, I attended a presentation last year (by CONVEX) which referred
  21. to a 2nd attempt to harness the technology with much improved capacity
  22. and data rates - forgotten the name, but DD2 comes to mind.
