- This is in response to the Amdhal mainframe debate.
- Please note that the mainframes need terminals which can be huge. The PCs do
- not take up much space and can be positioned such that it does not take up
- any more desktop space so if we were to take out the terminal consideration
- from the mainframes, then PCs need no room space at all.
- I thought this is obvious and could be the reason for the demise of
- mainframes. Customers know best.
