  11. Hi, I wonder if anybody out there knows anything
  12. about the problems of using NNs for medical diagnosis?
  13. I'm keen to try to use a conventional MLP to establish
  14. whether a particular set of clinical symptoms can be 
  15. reliably related to a particular diagnosis. However,
  16. a number of problems are apparent.
  17.  
  18. I'm particularly interested in the problems of:
  19.  
  20. - subjectivity of the data.
  21. - 'fuzzy' nature of some symptoms (ie. fairly XXX).
  22. - sample size in relation to number of symptoms used.
  23.  
  24. Any refs/suggestions ?
