  16. I'm still near the bottom of the learning curve on WinWord 2.0
  17. (coming from DOS Word 5.0), but I thought I understood putting page
  18. numbers in my documents until now.  I have done it before and it
  19. worked, but now I have a problem.
  20.  
  21. My page numbers appear just the way I want them (not on the first
  22. page, centered and surrounded by dashes on subsequent pages) in print
  23. preview and in layout format.  When I print them, however, they are
  24. gone.  What could be causing the printing process to strip them off
  25. but still show them on the screen?

  27. I'm stumped. Any and all help will be appreciated.
