- I'm still near the bottom of the learning curve on WinWord 2.0
- (coming from DOS Word 5.0), but I thought I understood putting page
- numbers in my documents until now. I have done it before and it
- worked, but now I have a problem.
-
- My page numbers appear just the way I want them (not on the first
- page, centered and surrounded by dashes on subsequent pages) in print
- preview and in layout format. When I print them, however, they are
- gone. What could be causing the printing process to strip them off
- but still show them on the screen?
-
- I'm stumped. Any and all help will be appreciated.
