  24. Sorry for the confusion.  I should have said "COLOSPGS has no :mailer tag
  25. in its entry in BITEARN NODES", which is to say that they have not
  26. registered a mailer to handle incoming or outgoing mail.  This is no
  27. guarantee that they have none, but it is an indication.  So is the lack
  28. of Received: lines in the header of the sample message you gave.

  30. You might try writing to somebody at COLOSPGS to verify my conjecture.
  31. Rob Garvie (GARVIE@COLOSPGS) is mentioned in several roles in their node
  32. entry in BITEARN NODES.

  34. By the way, is the blank line that follows the "***" line in your sample
  35. really in the message as received?
