- Janet,
-
- You may call it cross cultural MIS-communication.... I have seen it
- happen in our U.S. courts where a witness is so thoroughly caught up
- in semantics by the defense attorney framing and reframing questions
- bringing about confusion to the witness....
-
- I repeat, I merely pointed out that I do not think we have a democracy
- and gave examples of the results of our system......to explain my
- point of view. Similiarly, I gave examples of why I think our media
- (TV and major magazines) is biased, has a slant and that as a result of
- this, our people are not well informed enough to make choices that would
- reflect in a democracy....
-
- Instead of claiming that I have not shown any "warrants" or "evidence", and
- trying to cross examine, perhaps you and others who shoose to disagree
- should point out the reasons why you believe the U.S. is a
- democracy (because people cast votes) or that the media can be fair to those
- it earns a living from....
-
- I have yet to hear from you on this....
