- Elections are bought with volunteer workers, and a candidate that works
- well with people. The best organization of volunteers work hard and
- believe in their candidate. These volunteers can raise money and for
- airtime but important airtime is the free debates. The people also
- check on thier tax returns to donate $1 to a fund that is then shared
- with all the candidates.
-
- Ross Perot is proof a rich man can't buy an election for President.
- In our local elections and state elections rich men don't win either.
- The possibility of non representation is negated, but there is the
- 10% rule. Rich men/women are elected but I'ld bet they did buy the
- election. Just because a person is rich they shouldn't be penalized
- for it!
