  12. I'm Dave Nasatir, a sociologist by training
  13. (and disposition) and a professor in the
  14. Behavioral Science Graduate Program at
  15. Cal State Dominguez Hills, home of the
  16. Olympic Velodrome and Oliver, himself.
  17.  
  18. I teach courses in conflict management
  19. and will have students in one of my
  20. classes start their subscriptions next week.

  22. I recently returned from a year in
  23. Florence where I was director of the California
  24. State University Program in Italy and,
  25. at various times, have been a visiting
  26. professor in Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro
  27. and Washington DC.  I have worked for
  28. UNESCO, the Ford Foundation and the
  29. US Agency for International Development
  30. in India, Indonesia, France, Venezuela,
  31. Colombia and Chile and have bicycled
  32. over the highest (paved) pass in each
  33. country. That's why I'm usually
  34. so breathless.
