  17. It isn't *my* sense of hot and cold (though I never do enjoy the Atlantic
  18. Ocean, I'll admit) but what I heard about survival times in the water. I
  19. heard this on NPR a while back.  My vague memory is that in the winter,
  20. you could last only a few minutes, while in the summer it was a couple of
  21. hours.  This supports my memories of the Atlantic Ocean.:)
