- Greetings,
-
- I will ask my spousal unit, who has all the Outer Banks realty stuff
- at our home in KY, to give me some pricing information. I had thought of
- the Outer Banks as an additional destination for those of us who may
- decide to make the Word-l event the bookend of a vacation. Although the
- Outer Banks is a lovely spot, one wonders whether it can work as a
- group destination, in view of the fact there would be no local organizer.
- True, there are plenty of public beaches and parks, etc., but unless we
- wish to do all the work ourselves (I mean cooking and the like), we won't
- have the kind of experience we had last year. Also, I should note that
- although the Outer Banks is a popular campsite, I prefer to avoid
- grit and sand. Finally, although the Outer Banks is the home of American
- flight, I'm not sure it's a practical destination for those who would
- fly. Does anyone know whether it's easy to connect into Nag's Head?
-
- Marty
