  22. Not *the* Peggy Noonan?  The speechwriter for Presidents Reagan and
  23. Bush, and author of the infamous "read my lips" speech GHWB gave upon
  24. accepting the nomination in 1988?  If so, tell her I think she's a
  25. goddess.  And that I wish Citizen Bush had had the sense to keep her
  26. on in his campaign last year.  Lord knows he could have used a better
  27. vehicle for getting his message across, whatever it was.
