  17. of assuming the persona of an Italian emigrant priest. He is not, to say the
  18. least, reverent towards the RC hierarchy, or the RC anything, for that matter.
  19. He first entered my consciousness on the old--i.e., original--SNL, where he
  20. would do commentary on the news, though I forget whether he predated, postdated
  21. or was a contemporary of Roseanne Rosannadanna or Emily Latella (speaking,
  22. giggles, of presidential erections).
