- subject searching is *very very* important! The Florida state colleges/
- universities system has a menu where one can choose one or another
- of the individual libraries' catalogs, or the Union List for the lot--
- and guess which one does NOT have subject searching! So if you want
- to know, <Is there a book anywhere in this state on -whatsits->, you
- have to go through -each- of about 16 library catalogs. And no, the
- Union List doesn't have call # searching, either, tho many of the
- constituent libraries do.
