  15. Make sure the package can do search by author, title, and call no.
  16. Ohio State used to have it (this was in the mid-to-late 70s) so that
  17. you could search for call #s both ahead and behind of the one you
  18. were looking for.  It's like stack-browsing on the computer.  We have
  19. NOTIS, and the latest version does call # searches, but I believe
  20. you have to have the exact call #.

  22. Whoops!  I forgot subject and keyword searching.  Most pkgs. already
  23. do that, and it's very useful.  (Subject is usually LC subject, keyword
  24. is what we would think of as more general topic.)  Wildcards everywhere
  25. are nice.
