- Not quite indestructible..... they don't fair too well when a semi-trailer
- runs over them, but the truckies are wary of them because too many squashed
- cane toads can cause serious accidents..... more slippery than a road covered
- in oil. A heavy blow between the eyes with a 10 pound hammer can also send
- them to 'cane toad heaven' and they're only poisonous if you happen to eat
- one. They do have one virtue though, they can cure a feral cat problem very
- effectively.
