- I'm sure some of Will baby's words were made up from out of
- his imagination (which is not nothing, but his unique synthesis of his
- experiences), others were already out in the culture and he
- popularized them and spread them. Other words are made up by several
- people at the same time -- they just leap out of a set of
- circumstances. For example, the word "netiquette." Chuq von Rospach
- wrote the original document explaining the very basics, and is given
- credit for making up the word, but I'm sure others came up with it at
- around the same time, and if Chuq were not around, someone else would
- have.
