  12. first: The generally accepted academic catchword for the subcontinent now
  13. is "South Asia". Tushar seems to have accepted the anglicized upper-class
  14. belief/hope that "We are not Asians, that's all those dirty buggers over there.
  15. We, on the other hand, play cricket." I've noticed the same problem with people
  16. from Pittsburgh denying they're from the Midwest. And I don't even want to
  17. start in on the Russians, who always insist they are European, but never call
  18. it Western Europe, just Europe.

  21. the post in question. While it is *very* good for telnetting out of, it is
  22. horrible as far as lists and mail go, and the disk space makes certain gifs
  23. look like Long Dong Silver.
