- "I am so sick of all the hoo-haw and assorted goings on that I could just
- <puke>. I have just seen the President of the United States playing a
- saxophone solo to "Your Mama Won't Dance and Your Daddy Can't Rock 'N'
- Roll." Al Gore was doing the twist with that bastion of free speech,
- Tipper. Dan Rather is walking around with a three-quarter hard on, he's so
- happy, and CNN is, well, more CNN than ever. NPR has suspended all normal
- programming in favor of what can only be termed a Love Fest. The only
- unbiased channel is C-SPAN, and I don't like the look in Brian Lamb's eyes

- All I can reply is .... YIPPPEEEEE. I can't say I'm sorry you feel that way
- because after 12 years of feeling like my presidents were aliens from Mars, I
- am just delighted by the sense of hopefulness, inclusion, and reality that
- has finally set in among a plurality (yes, I know it wasn't a majority) of
- American voters. Bill, Hillary, Al, and Tipper are far from perfect, but
- they make me prouder than Ron, Nancy, and George ever could (and I
- deliberately segregate Barbara from that unsavory roster).

- There! I've said it. Now flame away if you must, but I see that few others
- on this list seem to suppress their incendiary commentary.
