- I posted the following message a couple of weeks ago and received
- *no* replies! I was sure at least one of you gurus would have a
- suggestion about this.
-
- Lets try one more time before I give up:

- Is there a way to change the ICON of a running Windows process?
- Or perhaps a way to update the textual name which accompanies the
- ICON of a minimized process?
-
- Often times I will start a application in a DOS box which may
- need to stay around for a while. Normally I will minimize the
- DOS box so I can come back to it later. The problem is that the
- DOS box will display the MSDOS ICON which there may be more than
- one of by now. The only way to find out which one is which is by
- restoring each of them one at a time.
-
- Yes, I know that by adding them to a group and running them from
- PM will allow a unique ICON, but this is not always practical.
-
- This is not a show stopping problem for me, but if there is an
- easy way to do this my life will become just ever-so-much nicer.
-
- Thanks

- This is my clever little saying at the end of my mail messages
- because everyone else seems to have one.
