- Well, you're right--it's not possible. As soon as you assign LPT1 to
- the network printer, there is no way to print to the PC's own local
- port as all LPT1: stuff is redirected.

- Assigning LPT2 (or LPT3) to network printer is easiest as previously
- suggested.
