  17. look, I've got a problem with a Trident Tvga 9000 graphic card. I DO have new
  18. drivers for windows 3.1 (i think they are still a beta release) and they do
  19. work greatly with a Trident 8900 card in 800x600, 256colors mode, but they
  20. don't seem to work correctly with a 9000 card. That seems strange to me,
  21. since in the documentation they say the drivers are for 8800, 8900 and 9000
  22. cards.

  24. Does anybody know why those 3.1 drivers don't work? The computer I am trying
  25. to install them is a 386, and the monitor is a "no-name" multisync.
  26. I can get perfect screen with 640x480, but as soon as I change into
  27. 800x600 the resolution gets REALLY poor! I don't think that's a monitor
  28. problem.
  29. Are the drivers wrong? If so, can someone be so kind to E-MAIL (..I do not
  30. have FTP access) a correct driver for 800x600, 256colors?
  31. If you don't think that it is the driver that creates the problem,
  32. where else can the problem be?
