- I'm getting wierd behavior with version 2.04c as well while running in
- Windows 3.1. I usually launch PKZip from Stupendos, a great little
- file manager with built-in support for PKWare products. Using version
- 2.04c, I was getting knocked out of Stupendos running in a DOS window.
- Putting PKZip/Unzip in the same directory as Stupendos seems to have cleared
- that matter up.
-
- But speaking of sharing violations, I am having trouble setting up two
- nodes of the new Multiline version of PCBoard in DOS windows in Win 3.1.
- Now, I get a "file locking failed, illegal function number" when the
- program tries to access my USERS and MSGS files, which are shared by the
- two nodes. When I tried to put DOS's SHARE utility in my AUTOEXEC.BAT,
- I got a sharing violation error as soon as I tried to run either of the
- two nodes. I thought that Win 3.1 included its own file sharing capabi-
- lities--is it wise to run the DOS SHARE as well? Anyone using PCBoard
- v14.5a/M out there?
