- It's very easy. On our system, a user types 'RESTORE', which is basically
- a front-end EXEC around SYBLIST. This puts the user in a full screen panel,
- where he or she can specify the disk (defaults to 191) or directory to
- restore or browse. Everything is PF key driven, and there are help screens.
- You browse for the files you want (you can select via a FILELIST-like
- display or by entering wildcard-ed file identifiers, and can override the
- date range the file was backed up on), and then press a PF-key to go.
- Restored files go either to reader, minidisk, or SFS. We used to have users
- call us for all restores; now we tell them to type RESTORE and follow the
- instructions.
