- Yes, what you say is true ,,8 segments equals 1 free trip. OK< for American
- Airlines, you ALSO get (if a frequent flier) the miles for your travel. Two
- round trips to LA nets 12,000 miles on your ADVANTAGE card (20k for one free
- trip with a stopover) plus a free trip to be used from September - December.
- So, in essence, you fly twice, pay for these two trips, at the current
- discounted fares, get one trip to be used in Sept-Dec for free, and also get
- miles (12,000 appx) , which is 60% of another free trip. Not bad?????
