- I have to agree with BertW about using timed displays. Especially, if you're
- working with a diverse user group & there's anything on screen to read. I've
- had to un-do some built-in pauses becauses I didn't anticipate correctly the
- time needed to process the info on the screen. I have used them successfully
- where the program is executing a routine & does it too quickly for the user
- to finish reading/viewing a screen before it moves on to the next page...but
- again it's difficult to know exactly how long is long enough for any given
- user (or machine for that matter...our students usually have faster CPUs than
- I can afford!)
