  14. I have to agree with BertW about using timed displays.  Especially, if you're
  15. working with a diverse user group & there's anything on screen to read.  I've
  16. had to un-do some built-in pauses becauses I didn't anticipate correctly the
  17. time needed to process the info on the screen.  I have used them successfully
  18. where the program is executing a routine & does it too quickly for the user
  19. to finish reading/viewing a screen before it moves on to the next page...but
  20. again it's difficult to know exactly how long is long enough for any given
  21. user (or machine for that matter...our students usually have faster CPUs than
  22. I can afford!)
