- Our university is considering the purchase of SAS for a Unix system. Faculty
- have been requesting this package for a long time and have given several
- arguments about the power and validity of the algorithms used in the SAS
- statistical programs.
-
- Can this be substantiated? If anyone could supply references to any articles
- which discuss the "strengths" of SAS and its value for original research, it
- would be greatly appreciated.
-
- Thanks, Carol
