  14.                              THE DIVINE MASTERS
  15.  
  16.                Most Christians would agree, and correctly so, that
  17.           Jesus Christ was a perfect living Master, and a projection of
  18.           God into the physical world, God Incarnate.
  19.  
  20.                But there are some very important related facts that
  21.           Christians are COMPLETELY IGNORANT of, as are followers of
  22.           most other world religions.
  23.  
  24.                First, Jesus Christ was NOT unique, John 3:16 NOTWITH-
  25.           STANDING.  There is ALWAYS at least one such perfect living
  26.           Master (God Incarnate) PHYSICALLY ALIVE in this world AT ALL
  27.           TIMES, a continuous succession THROUGHOUT HISTORY, both
  28.           before and after the life of Jesus.
  29.  
  30.                The followers of some of these Masters founded the
  31.           world's major religions, usually PERVERTING the teachings of
  32.           their Master in the process.  Christians, for example, added
  33.           THREATS of "ETERNAL DAMNATION" in Hell, and DELETED the
  34.           teaching of REincarnation.
  35.  
  36.                Secondly, and more importantly, after a particular
  37.           Master physically dies and leaves this world, there is
  38.           NOTHING that He can do for ANYbody except for the relatively
  39.           few people that He INITIATED while He was still physically
  40.           alive.  (That is simply the way God set things up in the
  41.           Universes.)
  42.  
  43.                Therefore, all those Christians who worship Jesus, and
  44.           pray to Jesus, and expect Jesus to return and save them from
  45.           their sins, are only KIDDING THEMSELVES, and have allowed
  46.           themselves to be DUPED by a religion that was mostly
  47.           MANUFACTURED by the Romans.

  49.                And emotional "feelings" are a TOTALLY DECEIVING
  50.           indicator for religious validity.
  51.  
  52.                These things are similarly true for followers of most
  53.           other major world religions, including Islam.
  54.  
  55.                Thirdly, the primary function of each Master is to tune
  56.           His Initiates into the "AUDIBLE LIFE STREAM" or "SOUND
  57.           CURRENT", (referred to as "THE WORD" in John 1:1-5, and as
  58.           "The River of Life" in Revelation 22:1), and to personally
  59.           guide each of them thru the upper levels of Heaven while they
  60.           are still connected to their living physical bodies by a
  61.           "silver cord".

  63.                True Salvation, which completes a Soul's cycles of
  64.           REincarnation in the physical and psychic planes, is achieved
  65.           only by reaching at least the "SOUL PLANE", which is five
  66.           levels or universes above the physical universe, and this
  67.           canNOT be done without the help of a Perfect LIVING Master.

  69.                One such perfect Master alive today is an American, Sri
  70.           Harold Klemp, the Living "Eck" Master or "Mahanta" for the
  71.           "Eckankar" organization, now headquartered in Minneapolis,
  72.           (P.O. Box 27300;  zip 55427).

  74.                Another perfect living Master is Maharaj Gurinder Singh
  75.           Ji, now living in Punjab, India, and is associated with the
  76.           "Sant Mat" organization.
  77.  
  78.                One of the classic books on this subject is "THE PATH OF
  79.           THE MASTERS" (Radha Soami Books, P.O. Box 242, Gardena, CA
  80.           90247), written in 1939 by Dr. Julian Johnson, a theologian
  81.           and surgeon who spent the last years of his life in India
  82.           studying under and closely observing the Sant Mat Master of
  83.           that time, Maharaj Sawan Singh Ji.

  85.                Several of the Eckankar books, including some authored
  86.           by Sri Paul Twitchell or Sri Harold Klemp, can be found in
  87.           most public and university libraries and some book stores, or
  88.           obtained thru inter-library loan.  The book "ECKANKAR--THE
  89.           KEY TO SECRET WORLDS", by Sri Paul Twitchell, is ANOTHER
  90.           classic.

  92.                Many Christians are likely to confuse the Masters with
  93.           the "Anti-Christ", which is or was to be a temporary world
  94.           dictator during the so-called "last days".  But the Masters
  95.           don't ever rule, even when asked or expected to do so as
  96.           Jesus was.

  98.                People who continue following Christianity, Islam, or
  99.           other orthodox religions with a physically DEAD Master, will
  100.           CONTINUE on their cycles of REincarnation, between the
  101.           psychic planes and this MISERABLE physical world, until they
  102.           finally WISE UP!

  106.           RE-INCARNATION

  108.                The book "HERE AND HEREAFTER", by Ruth Montgomery,
  109.           describes several kinds of evidence supporting REincarnation
  110.           as a FACT OF LIFE, including HYPNOTIC REGRESSIONS to past
  111.           lives, SPONTANEOUS RECALL (especially by young children, some
  112.           of whom can identify their most recent previous relatives,
  113.           homes, possessions, etc.), DREAM RECALL of past life experi-
  114.           ences, DEJA VU (familiarity with a far off land while travel-
  115.           ing there for the first time on vacation), the psychic read-
  116.           ings of the late EDGAR CAYCE, and EVEN SUPPORTING STATEMENTS
  117.           FROM THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE including Matthew 17:11-13 (John the
  118.           Baptist was the REINCARNATION of Elias.) and John 9:1-2 (How
  119.           can a person POSSIBLY sin before he is born, unless he LIVED
  120.           BEFORE?!).  [ ALWAYS use the "KING JAMES VERSION".  Later
  121.           versions are PER-VERSIONS! ]  Strong INTERESTS, innate
  122.           TALENTS, strong PHOBIAS, etc., typically originate from a
  123.           person's PAST LIVES.  For example, a strong fear of swimming
  124.           in or traveling over water usually results from having
  125.           DROWNED at the end of a PREVIOUS LIFE.  And sometimes a
  126.           person will take AN IMMEDIATE DISLIKE to another person being
  127.           met for the first time, because of a bad encounter with him
  128.           during a PREVIOUS INCARNATION.

  130.                The teaching of REincarnation also includes the LAW OF
  131.           KARMA (Galatians 6:7, Revelation 13:10, etc.).  People would
  132.           behave much better toward each other if they knew that their
  133.           actions in the present will surely be reaped by them in the
  134.           future, or in a FUTURE INCARNATION!

  138.           "2nd COMINGS"
  139.  
  140.                If a Perfect Living Master physically dies ("trans-
  141.           lates") before a particular Initiate of His does, then when
  142.           that Initiate physically dies ("translates"), the Master will
  143.           meet him on the Astral level and take him directly to the
  144.           Soul Plane.  This is the ONE AND ONLY correct meaning of a
  145.           2nd Coming.  It is an INDIVIDUAL experience, NOT something
  146.           that happens for everyone all at once.  People who are still
  147.           waiting for Jesus' "2nd Coming" are WAITING IN VAIN.

  151.           PLANES OF EXISTENCE

  153.                The physical universe is the LOWEST of AT LEAST a DOZEN
  154.           major levels of existence.  Above the Physical Plane is the
  155.           Astral Plane, the Causal Plane, the Mental Plane, the Etheric
  156.           Plane (often counted as the upper part of the Mental Plane),
  157.           the Soul Plane, and several higher Spiritual Planes.  The
  158.           Soul Plane is the FIRST TRUE HEAVEN, (counting upward from
  159.           the Physical).  The planes between (but NOT including) the
  160.           Physical and Soul Planes are called the Psychic Planes.

  162.                It is likely that ESP, telepathy, astrological
  163.           influences, radionic effects, biological transmutations [See
  164.           the 1972 book with that title.], and other phenomena without
  165.           an apparent physical origin, result from INTERACTIONS between
  166.           the Psychic Planes and the Physical Plane.

  168.                The major planes are also SUB-DIVIDED.  For example, a
  169.           sub-plane of the Astral Plane is called "Hades", and the
  170.           Christian Hell occupies a SMALL part of it, created there
  171.           LESS THAN 2000 YEARS AGO by the EARLY CATHOLIC CHURCH by some
  172.           kind of black magic or by simply teaching its existence in a
  173.           THREATENING manner.  The Christian "Heaven" is located
  174.           elsewhere on the Astral Plane.  Good Christians will go there
  175.           for a short while and then REincarnate back to Earth.

  179.           SOUND CURRENT vs. BLIND FAITH

  181.                The Christian religion demands of its followers an
  182.           extraordinary amount of BLIND FAITH backed up by little more
  183.           than GOOD FEELING (which is TOTALLY DECEIVING).

  185.                If a person is not HEARING some form of the "SOUND
  186.           CURRENT" ("THE WORD", "THE BANI", "THE AUDIBLE LIFE STREAM"),
  187.           then his cycles of REINCARNATION in this MISERABLE world WILL
  188.           CONTINUE.

  190.                The "SOUND CURRENT" manifests differently for different
  191.           Initiates, and can sound like a rushing wind, ocean waves on
  192.           the sea shore, buzzing bees, higher-pitched buzzing sound, a
  193.           flute, various heavenly music, or other sounds.  In Eckankar,
  194.           Members start hearing it near the end of their first year as
  195.           a Member.  This and other experiences (such as "SOUL TRAVEL")
  196.           REPLACE blind faith.
