- For a richer linguistic input, studying in the target language country
- would seem to be superior. However, language learning is more than
- learning language. I believe that we have to help learners to develop
- and expand their knowledge about themselves as learners in general as
- a means of increasing their success. I think language learners are sometimes
- seen a piece of velcro...throw as much at them as you can and see what sticks.
- Those of us who did learn and become proficient by this method are probably
- the exceptions.
