  13.  On Friday 29th January, Eileen Schreiner retires. Since 1967 she has
  14.  worked for the Norwegian Computing Center in Oslo and throughout this
  15.  period she has been heavily involved with SIMULA and activities
  16.  related to our favourite language. For practically all of this time
  17.  she has been the driving force of continuity in the Association of
  18.  SIMULA Users in the capacities of secretary, treasurer newsletter
  19.  editor as well as being a personal friend, confidante and inspiration
  20.  to a vast number of us who have worked with her world-wide. Her almost
  21.  total ignorance of the technicalities of SIMULA has never deterred her
  22.  in the slightest from being SIMULA's staunchest supporter! She is
  23.  truly a "Simulady".

  25.  I am sending this message out as a reminder to those who might want to
  26.  express their wishes for Eileen's happy retirement.
