  13. In an effort to supplement the training of inexperienced SAS users/
  14. programmers, we are looking to put together a list of hints, tips,
  15. utilities, etc., that can be used to debug SAS programs.  For example,
  16. if you get a message that a variable is uninitialized, chances are
  17. that you mispelled the variable name, or else dropped or neglected to
  18. keep the variable in a previous step.  The version 5 SAS Guide to
  19. Problem Solving and Error Messages contains some of this kind of
  20. information, but has not yet been updated for version 6.

  22. I am hoping that someone out there may have put together something
  23. of this sort for their own installation, and would be willing to
  24. share it.  If so, I would greatly appreciate it, as I don't have a lot
  25. of time to do it myself.  Responses can be sent via one of the
  26. mechanisms listed below.
