- In an effort to supplement the training of inexperienced SAS users/
- programmers, we are looking to put together a list of hints, tips,
- utilities, etc., that can be used to debug SAS programs. For example,
- if you get a message that a variable is uninitialized, chances are
- that you mispelled the variable name, or else dropped or neglected to
- keep the variable in a previous step. The version 5 SAS Guide to
- Problem Solving and Error Messages contains some of this kind of
- information, but has not yet been updated for version 6.

- I am hoping that someone out there may have put together something
- of this sort for their own installation, and would be willing to
- share it. If so, I would greatly appreciate it, as I don't have a lot
- of time to do it myself. Responses can be sent via one of the
- mechanisms listed below.
