  12. The readability of text in the Display Manager windows under SAS release 6.04 
  13. on LCD screens can be enhanced by using the right screen driver.
  14. The best thing to do is create a file named CONFIG.SAS in the directory from 
  15. which you start SAS. 
  16. Be careful if there's already a CONFIG.SAS file in any directories specified 
  17. by a DOS PATH command or int the root ofdirectory. Then you must first copy it to 
  18. the current directory. Then add the following line:
  19. -fsedvice            
  20.  
  21. -fsdevice sasxdcpa 
  22.  
  23. This invokes a special screen driver for LCD and plasma screens. If you still have problems then read pp. 205-208 of 'Technical Report: P-171, Changes and 
  24. enhancements to Base SAS Software for Personal Computers, Release 6.03 (1987).
