  17.      The new SAS documentation for "Exporting SAS/GRAPH Output to
  18. ALDUS PAGEMAKER for Windows" is available by contacting SAS Tech
  19. Support, and requesting document TS-252F (Version 1.05, January
  20. 15, 1993).  This document contains embedded graphics and
  21. therefore was not put on FTP.SAS.COM.  However, Peter Ruzsa has
  22. put information for exporting SAS/GRAPH output to other software
  23. packages on FTP.SAS.COM.  The files are located in the
  24.  
  25.        /techsup/download/technote/ts252 directory.
  26.  
  27. They deal with, among other things, creating file formats for
  28. SAS/GRAPH, and importing those files to other packages.
  29.  
  30.      The three files are:
  31.  
  32.    1. readme.txt   - table of contents describing the files
  33.  
  34.    2. exptable.dat - list of products, platforms, files imported and
  35.                      addresses of the companies of the products
  36.    3. expdriv.dat  - information on the file formats (and how to
  37.                      create), importing files to other software
  38.                      packages, and gdevice descriptions for the
  39.                      packages.

  42.      Some simple directions for accessing the files.

  45.      To FTP the files to your computer, at the ready prompt type
  46.  
  47.     ftp FTP.SAS.COM
  48.  
  49. it will ask you to identify yourself, type "anonymous" and then
  50. you will need to type in the password.  The password is your own email
  51. address (mine is ubsheff@unc.edu).
  52.      The files are located in the directory
  53.  
  54.     /techsup/download/technote/ts252 .
  55.  
  56.      So type
  57.  
  58. cd techsup/download/technote/ts252 to move to the directory.   Type
  59. "ls" to view the files in the directory.
  60.      To copy files from SAS type "get filename".  Get is the
  61. command to retrieve "filename" from SAS.COM.  You will get a response
  62. that the transfer was completed.
