- Hi,
-
- I'm looking for references to theories of obsessive compulsive disorder.
- I'm particularly interested in computational theories (not necessarily
- quantitative theories) which explain the phenomena in terms of
- breakdown(s) in normal cognitive functioning.
-
- Would someone provide me with pertinent literature? If there aren't any
- computational cognitive theories, the most popular OCD theories would
- do.
-
- Thanks,
-
- Luc

- Here at Birmingham, Aaron Sloman, myself, and colleagues are working on
- a theory of affect and attention. I intend to use this theory to explain
- some phenomena of OCD. A paper of ours on affect and attention, which is
- to appear in the proceedings of AISB/93 is accessible from
- ftp.cs.bham.ac.uk as pub/dist/papers/cog_affect/motive_processing.ps.Z
