- Hillary's creation of concensus.

- According to a PBS documentary on the backgrounds of Bush and
- Clinton, Bill and Hillary determined *beforehand* what they
- wanted done in education, and then Hillary was sent out to
- convince everybody that it ought to be done.

- She did a deal with the teachers' union to get them to accept
- teacher testing by promising them they would all pass. And
- they did. All evidence indicate that anyone who had gotten past
- third grade (even in Arkansas, where it is considered "higher
- education") could have passed that test.

- Also, I remind you that the US spend MORE on its educational
- system than any other industrialized nation, and the JAPANESE
- spend the least.
