  16. Actually "forged" is a mighty appropriate word to use regarding
  17. Hillary's creation of concensus.

  19. According to a PBS documentary on the backgrounds of Bush and
  20. Clinton, Bill and Hillary determined *beforehand* what they
  21. wanted done in education, and then Hillary was sent out to
  22. convince everybody that it ought to be done.

  24. She did a deal with the teachers' union to get them to accept
  25. teacher testing by promising them they would all pass.  And
  26. they did.  All evidence indicate that anyone who had gotten past
  27. third grade (even in Arkansas, where it is considered "higher
  28. education") could have passed that test.

  30. Also, I remind you that the US spend MORE on its educational
  31. system than any other industrialized nation, and the JAPANESE
  32. spend the least.

  34. More money isn't necessarily a good thing.
