  11. The military brass and several congress critters, including those with
  12. combat experience, have said that integrating gays into the military
  13. will not work.

  15. My question is: If the anti-gay bias is so strong in america, why aren't
  16. non-military types joining the fray and saying "If they're not good
  17. enough for the military, they're not good enough for the rest of us"?

  19. When I was of draft age, I knew a number of people who were told "join
  20. the services or go to jail". Are we still using the military as an
  21. alternative to prison?
