  19. I am looking for a quick/simple(?) method to handle mail between PMDF on one
  20. node of a non-homogeneous cluster and DEC's MRGATE and All-in-1 Mail (not IOS)
  21. based on another node of the cluster.

  23. The main difficulty I face (until I can relocate the MR component to the node
  24. with PMDf and install PMDF-MR [hooray! but not in the shorter term...]) is the
  25. rewriting of the from addresses of the mail entering PMDF from MRGATE. The
  26. from address typically looks like

  28.         "RTWKV::MRGATE::\"AM::SYSPRGD\""@Roads.SA.Gov.AU
  29.  
  30. when it reaches it's destination.
  31. RTWKV = cluster alias
  32. AM = All-in-1 Mail MR mailbox
  33.  
  34. I would have thought the best method would be to attempt to rewrite the from
  35. address to something more like
  36.  
  37.                 sysprgd@mrgate.Roads.SA.Gov.AU
  38.  
  39. which is then easy to handle on the incoming side.
