  26. I am currently using the first Apple scanner ever made and the scanning
  27. package that came with it. I am scanning from a Mac II on sys 6.05.
  28.  
  29. Basically we scan line art only, but would like to get into scanning
  30. halftones. Suffice to say our package is about worthless in the
  31. halftone area.

  33. What I would really like is a scanning package that will let me edit
  34. the line art (you know, delete things, add things, rotate, etc.). Our
  35. package lets you do a few of these things but it is very clumsy.
  36.  
  37. Could anyone suggest an inexpensive scanning package that will work
  38. mainly with line art but will do a good job on halftones?
  39.  
  40. And if I need a newer scanner could you offer a few suggestions
  41. and costs?  Thanks!
