  27. support shared cataloguing services and union catalogue services by way
  28. of a central database. Each entry includes details on the role and
  29. management structure of the network, membership, size and content of the

  35. It does not, as far I can see, register one of the most practical things
  36. to know: an internetnet adress! (Only that a base is reachable via the
  37. internet).

  140. RARE (Reseaux Associes pour la Recherche Europeenne) Technical Report 1 is not
  141. an exact match for what you are looking for, but may be of interest. Entitled
  142. "User Support and Information Services in Europe: A Status Report" it provides
  143. information on 21 national networks, 1 regional network (NORDUnet) and the
  144. European networks CERN and EARN, with summary information, and email addresses
  145. for further information, on the networked library catalogues available through
  146. each system.

  167.         Hytelnet is an index of library catalogs accessible on-line.  It
  168. does not connect directly, but instead gives the address and login
  169. information of the library.  I don't know the address off hand, since the
  170. local university system has it on a menu.
