- I was able to duplicate the problem by first moving out of Lingua and
- second using the /b- switch (I have to set the B switch because I've got a
- Trident adapter). I don't know that a PIF file would eliminate the
- problem. If you press <space>-<enter> while you've got your blank NB
- screen, you'll see everything magically reappear in a window. Fooling
- around with various PIF settings (video display, etc.) didn't produce any
- results either. In short, the only so-called fix I could come up with was
- either choosing another setting at the NB end, or, if you don't
- mind special effects (like flashing menu letters), load NB with the /b
- switch and choose any display setting you like.
