  11. I am new subscriber to NB so please excuse me if this problem has been dealt
  12. with in the past.  I must also say that my computer knowledge is based on
  13. wordprocessing only using NB so I anybody can be of help, I am hoping it will
  14. not have to get too technical. In a moment of anger at NB, I decided to
  15. chuck the whole thing and switch to a Mac for a long project.  The publisher
  16. requires camera-ready copy and I just decided the Mac would be a better tool fo
  17. for that rather than my PC.  Here is my problem: I have some 500 pages in three
  18. large files written in French.  I would like to convert these to microsoft
  19. word for the mac.  My directions for the Apple Exchanger tell me to convert
  20. the NB files to DCA and then using the Apple Exchanger convert those to DCA-RFT
  21. which I can then convert to Microsoft Word for the Mac. I have had success on
  22. only one small file of about three pages.  The other big ones blow up between
  23. the NB-DCA and the end of the DCA-RFT conversion process.  A bomb literally
  24. comes on the screen and says after about 90% conversion that I have fallen
  25. into a heap. The people in my computer center are unable to help since not
  26. one uses NB, and they all maintain the problem is with the NB-DCA files.
  27. Any help to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated.  I'm not sure
  28. this is a problem for the open forum but it makes no difference if anybody
