  12. OK: I know this list was recently "gated" to USENET (by someone at Wash U. I
  13. believe).  In fact, I'm using my newsreader right now to write this.  Could
  14. the person responsible or anyone with knowledge of such arcane functions
  15. please e-mail me some info on how this is done?  I'd like to do the same
  16. thing for a number of education-related Bitnet lists by gating them to local
  17. newsgroups.  I don't even want to think about getting them passed along
  18. through the system for now, just making them available locally to our K-12
  19. teachers.  Our local news "guru" isn't to sure how to go about this and I'd
  20. like to present him with som hard facts.
