Your comparison here may be quite appropriate, but can you explain why in this framework Czechs are never mentioning that they were living for about 20 years
under G.Husak, Slovak and nationalist (according to his former jailors).
(Please replace "mentioning" with "complaining" in the text above.) It is surprising for me, if you think of all that persecution etc. we were reading about.
