  12. This is a "when all else fails" request for help.

  14. Between 12 and 15 years ago, there was a public radio broadcast of a drama
  15. involving medical ethics.  A faculty member here would like to track down
  16. a recording, since he is putting together a course on "Medicine in
  17. Society." There used to be a copy at the University of Pennsylvania
  18. when he was there, but they have since discarded it.

  20. The title is something like  "When the time comes."  The scenario is a
  21. a terminally ill man and his wife discussing his wish to make the end
  22. of his life a happy one.  He wants them to head off to an island that
  23. was a place they were happy once before, and fo rher to help him
  24. commit suicide.

  26. I have drawn a blank so far, checking OCLC, trying the public radio
  27. archives, and asking someone at HESCA.  Of course I searched AVLINE at
  28. NLM and the commercial AV-LINE.

  30. Does this ring a bell with anyone out there?  The faculty member
  31. thinks that the story may also have been turned into a play or video,
  32. but I can't locate anything with the title.
