- That's a great idea. Rather than specify it when the mail is sent,
- the receiving display could look for the marker character at the left
- margin of the text area and replace it with whatever the reader specifies.
- Of course, you could specify different replacements for each marker,
- because while you might prefer " >>" to ">>" you probably wouldn't want
- to change them all, " > >".
