  13. It's actually "Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge" and was written by Ambose Bierce.
  14. I just couldn't leave that one just hanging. In terms of generational
  15. differences in cultures I think it's probably safe to say that many boomers
  16. know Bierce through the tv version of "Owl Creek." (On "Twilight Zone" in early
  17. 60's?) while youger viewers may have the misfortune of knowing Bierce as "The
  18. Old Gringo" in the mediocre movie of the same name.
  19. The "Steenking badges" line is from "Treasure of the Sierra Madre."
