  17.         The association of the William tell Overture with the Lone Ranger may
  18. not require familiarity with the show.  I have never seen or heard the show,
  19. but clearly remember making biddy-bump biddy-bump noises as I galloped on my
  20. (imaginary) horses (perhaps I should point out that this was some time ago,
  21. and I rarely do either now.)  In other words, I think the WTO/LR association
  22. has entered into oral culture (or the collective unconciousness, or whatever:
  23. there's probably a better phrase.)
