- The association of the William tell Overture with the Lone Ranger may
- not require familiarity with the show. I have never seen or heard the show,
- but clearly remember making biddy-bump biddy-bump noises as I galloped on my
- (imaginary) horses (perhaps I should point out that this was some time ago,
- and I rarely do either now.) In other words, I think the WTO/LR association
- has entered into oral culture (or the collective unconciousness, or whatever:
- there's probably a better phrase.)
