- I think history will record Maya's poem as well as her talent as notable. I
- don't think it's a matter of whether she or Clinton can take the credit, but
- rather that she was asked to capture the moment and that she did very well.
- "High art" is really "in the eye of the beholder," and is constantly being
- redefined. I salute President Clinton for being brave enough to ask her and I
- salute Maya as an outstanding talent and a beautiful human being.
